This is the old hospital and now it is the Our Home. Now we have a new Hospital. The new hospital has two hundred people working there. They offer twenty four hour emergency care. There's a wellness center with a pool and a exercise place for aerobics. The Wellness Center has a twenty foot by forty foot swimming pool. There's aerobic exercise classes. The Wellness Center and the nursing home are connected to the hospital.
Bob VanZee is the owner of the food center. Thirty people work there. This is the only grocery store in Parkston. It has friendly people working there. They carry out your groceries for you. You can get gas for your car there. Boom's is connected to it. You can eat there and they have a drive through window.
Twelve people work at MDS. .Martin W. Hohn is the owner of MDS. You can get all kinds of feeders there. They also make feed wagons there. They make quality built farm equipment there. They provide you with quick service.
The bank was founded on July 19,1919 in Beardsley S.D. The first building that the Parkston office used was the old Nuway Cleaners Building on Main St. In Oct. they remodeled the Farmer State Bank. They now have twenty five full time staff workers and one part time person. The president is Robert Borman.
At Aerostar they make clothes. The manager of Aerostar is Brian Moore. You can find Aerostar on Ben Street. They have about six or seven trucks filed with fabrics to make clothes. It used to be called Ravens and now its called Aerostar. Seventy people work there.
